One of the most amazing things in Windows 7 was Windows Essentials 2012. Windows Essentials 2012 is a very old Microsoft Office, and it includes Windows Movie Maker, Live Writer, and Photo Gallery. These three apps is the reason I like Windows 7 more than Windows 10. Windows 10 doesn’t have the apps what came with Windows 7 that changed everything, and the alternatives aren’t very good. So Windows Essentials 2012 is one of the biggest favorites from those old days of Windows 7.
Windows 7 is growing old now, and you just have to think: Will it ever just sink and die? Well, it probably will, at some point. At some point, Microsoft’s just going to drop it, and say “Hey, Windows 7’s gone now!” And I’m surprised that they haven’t already done that. Some might think that Windows 7 was junk, but I think it was the best Windows edition there was. At least, all the apps and features that came with it, especially Windows Essentials 2012.
I’m giving my regards to Microsoft for creating Windows 7, and the whole world of Windows Essentials. That is one of the best things that Microsoft ever did, and the day I realized that Windows Essentials was available for free download on Windows 10, it was party time. And that’s why I hope Microsoft NEVER ever drops Windows 7, and all of its apps and features, even though I know—deep down, they will someday.
I’ve been searching for a good video editor for some time now, and I’ve just never been able to find one. And now, as the story of Windows Essentials 2012 unrolls itself, I start to think: Life must’ve been so good in 2012 (Even though I knew what it was back then.) Thanks, Microsoft.
