Yes, there’s an RTX Titan. 24GB of RAM and everything. But it is really worth it for the nearly $3,000 that you paid for it? We’ll find out.

The RTX Titan is the flagship-level RTX of the current generation. Judging by its name, you could say that it would be high-quality, but when the specs come out, you won’t be able to believe what you’re seeing. The RTX Titan contains a whopping 24GB of video memory, enough to run 3 games at the same time. It also features the graphics memory type, GDDR6. It’s built on the Turing architecture, meaning premium quality, not junky failure.

However, it does no better than a fully overclocked RTX 2080 TI (which is several hundred dollars cheaper). So, if you want maximum quality without having to pay so much, then the bets one to choose is the RTX 2080 TI, not the RTX Titan. This is one aspect of the graphics card that doesn’t make it so worth it.

So, it turned out to be kind of a 50-50. There were parts of the graphics card (like the 24GB of video memory) that amazed us so much that the graphics card became the pick of its generation, but there were also parts, like the performance compared to a fully overclocked RTX 2080 TI, that demoted the graphics card’s value. With this, I think we can decide that perhaps you may want to reconsider buying an RTX Titan.

  1. These kinds of things really aren’t worth it at all. If you don’t g o crazy with graphics, then don’t buy a crazy graphics card.
