How to personalize your PC, even when it’s not activated
That dreadful Activate Windows watermark is preventing you from personalizing your machine.
If you really want to activate your PC, but you can’t, because it’s not activated, then you might find it aggravating that you can’t do that. Now, if you have another PC, whether it’s a Windows tablet, Laptop, or desktop computer, you can personalize your machine on there.
So, if your Microsoft account is linked to all your computers, then you can personalize your preferences on your other computers that are activated. It will link to your unactviated PC, and you can freely personalize your unactivated machines by personalizing the options on other PCs.
Of course, Microsoft doesn’t exactly approve of this idea, but they can’t do anything about it except remove everyone’s Microsoft accounts, which would be pretty stupid. So, for now, you can just use this idea until Microsoft cooks up an idea to stop this plan, but I think that it’ll be a while before that happens.
